How can you learn to fly without a place to land?
8 years old Sasha is a talented and goal-oriented boy. He studies at the Circus Studio. He wants to fly under the circus dome and amaze children and adults. He devotes all his spare time to aerial gymnastics and devotes his whole life to the circus. Sasha gets a lot of support from his family, especially from his Dad Sergei who quit his job to bring Sasha to training every day. Sergey's dream is for his son to become a professional circus performer.
A small child realizes his responsibility and works hard on himself. Nevertheless, Sasha and other children study in poor conditions because 5 years ago government officials illegally kicked the studio out of the circus building where they had been practicing for 15 years. They were not offered an alternative as required by the law. A hunger strike by the head of the studio and an appeal to the media did not give any results.
The fight for the circus building and the children's rights exhausted Evgeny - Sasha's coach and a studio graduate. Eugene used to dream of a career as a circus artist and of a modern circus. He got lots of international circus awards but he had to give up on his dream. He works on an international cruise ship and does not connect the future with Ukraine. Sasha loves the circus. But it may happen that Eugene's path awaits him. Despite the circus building is collapsing, it is empty, and the quiet children's circus studio is preparing a new performance. Will Sasha have a place to land after training in the air?
