THE ADVENTURES OF THOMAS THE BABOON: EVOLUTION OR DEATH

Thomas the baboon used to be a philosopher in his past life. Being very advanced in his studies he decided that after death he wants to be reincarnated as an animal and bring enlightenment to his fellow beasts. So it happened, but he was unlucky enough to be reborn in Ukraine in a run-down provincial zoo… Years of neglect and beatings make him escape from his cage and take a train to the capital “to build a career”. On the train he gets killed by a lightning and is reborn again in the same zoo. Thus begins a series of absurd stories, each ultimately ending with Tomas’s death, which he has to go through in order to achieve real freedom and break out of the cycle.
